Website pricing, published

The same numbers we would give you on the phone. Nothing is quoted on application and nothing appears on the invoice that is not on this page.

Three sizes, one price each

A website costs R499 for one page, R999 for five pages or R1499 for ten pages. Each price includes your .co.za domain and the first year of hosting. From year two you pay R250 a year for the domain and R790 a year for hosting.

What it costs to keep it running

Renewal costs from year two
ItemCostNotes
Domain (.co.za)R250 a yearFrom year two. Registered in your name, not ours.
HostingR790 a yearFrom year two. SSL, backups and support included.
Changes after launchQuoted per jobSmall text edits are free in the first month.

That is R1 040 a year to stay online, billed yearly rather than monthly, because we would rather not chase anybody for a debit order and you would rather not have one.

What is included

  • Your own domain. A .co.za registered in your business name, and yours to take anywhere if you ever leave.
  • Hosting for a year. On a South African server, with a free SSL certificate so Chrome never shows your customers a Not Secure warning.
  • Works on a phone. Built mobile-first, because roughly three in four of your visitors will arrive on a phone.
  • Found by Google. Titles, descriptions, headings and structured data done properly on every page, not bolted on afterwards.
  • Readable by AI. Structured data and plain answers so ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI can actually tell somebody what you do and where you are.
  • Contact form and WhatsApp. Enquiries land in your inbox, and a WhatsApp button sits on every page for the people who will never fill in a form.

What is not

  • Online shop and payments. A proper e-commerce build is a different job with a different price. We will tell you honestly if that is what you need.
  • Booking systems and logins. Anything with accounts, calendars or a database is quoted separately.
  • Copywriting from nothing. We write from what you already have and what you tell us on the phone. If there is nothing at all, that takes longer than a day.
  • Logo design. We will use the logo you have. If you have none, we can quote for one.

If what you need is on the right hand list, we will tell you rather than sell you something that does not fit.

Is it cheap because it is bad?

It is cheap because it is narrow. We build one kind of thing, we build it from content that already exists, and we do not spend three weeks in meetings before starting. The same site from an agency costs more largely because the process costs more, not because the HTML is better.

Where we will not compete is anything with a shopping cart, a booking engine, user accounts or a database behind it. Those are real projects with real prices and we quote them separately or send you elsewhere.

Pricing questions

How much does a website cost?

Ours are R499 for a one page site, R999 for five pages and R1499 for ten. Each of those includes your .co.za domain and the first year of hosting, so R499 is the whole cost of getting online in year one.

From the second year it is R250 a year for the domain and R790 a year for hosting, which is R1 040 a year to stay online. There is nothing else.

Who owns the website and the domain?

You do. The .co.za is registered in your business name from day one, not ours. If you ever want to move to another host, we hand over the files and the login and you go. We do not hold sites hostage.

Do you do online shops?

Not at these prices. A shop with a cart, payments and stock is a different job and we will quote it separately rather than pretend it fits in R999. If a shop is what you actually need, we will say so.

What happens after the site is live?

Small text corrections are free in the first month. After that, changes are quoted per job, and most are small. Hosting, SSL and backups are handled by us for the R790 a year.
