Who we are

One Day Website is a trading name of Web Design Hosting SA, a South African business. Contact: hello@onedaywebsite.co.za.

The free preview

We may build a preview of a website for you at no cost and with no obligation on either side. A preview is a proposal, not a contract. It remains our property until paid for, is hosted on our own staging domain, and may be removed at any time. You owe nothing for a preview and are free to decline it.

Prices and what they include

Prices are R499 for a one page site, R999 for up to five pages and R1499 for up to ten pages. Each includes registration of one .co.za domain and twelve months of hosting from the launch date. Prices are quoted in South African rand and are the full amount payable for the build. We are not currently registered for VAT and therefore do not charge it.

Renewals

From the second year, domain renewal is R250 a year and hosting is R790 a year, invoiced annually in advance. We will notify you before each renewal. If you choose not to renew, your site will be taken offline and the domain will lapse unless you move it elsewhere first, which we will help you do.

Ownership

The domain is registered in your name and remains yours. On full payment, the website files and content are yours. You may take them to any other host at any time, and we will provide the files and any logins we hold on request.

Turnaround

We aim to publish an approved site within one working day of payment and of receiving everything needed to publish it, including access to any existing domain. Delays outside our control, including registrar processing, DNS propagation and waiting on content from you, are not included in that period.

Changes after launch

Corrections to text and contact details are free for the first thirty days. After that, changes are quoted per job before any work starts.

Refunds

Because you approve the site before paying, refunds are rare. If we fail to publish an approved site and the failure is ours, you get your money back in full. Domain registration fees cannot be refunded once the domain has been registered.

What we do not do

These prices do not cover online shops, payment processing, booking systems, user accounts, custom software or logo design. We will quote those separately or tell you if we are the wrong people for the job.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that any content, images, logos and trade marks you give us are yours to use, and that what you ask us to publish is accurate and lawful. We will not publish content that is misleading, infringing or unlawful.

Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.
